The way in which the GMO Panel of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) assess applications for GMOs is criticized by EU member states as well as by environmental and consumers’ organizations.
But while a basic discussion about the risk assessment of the EFSA takes place, EFSA continues to do its work and the GMO Panel writes new opinions.
