Kurz-Biographie

Dr Hartmut Meyer is a biologist who works as an independent expert and author in the fields of genetic engineering and biological safety as well as genetic resources and rights to intellectual property. He works as a consultant for the GTZ Gesellschaft für technische Zusammenarbeit (German Technical Cooperation), an advisor to the EED Church Development Service in Germany and an information manager for the European NGO Network on Genetic Engineering (GENET). He is on the board of the German Gen-ethisches Netzwerk (GeN) and is a speaker for the work group dealing with genetic engineering and ecology at the Ecological Society of Germany (GfOe). He is further coordinating the European Network of Scientists for Social and Environmental Responsibility (ENSSER e.V.).
