According to the meeting agenda, the GMO Panel was to discuss the renewal of the food/feed authorisation of Ms8/Rf3 oilseed rape, the food/feed authorisation of MON89034xNK603, and the wok on "Self-tasking on Assessment of allergenicity of genetically modified foods."

On the agenda for this meeting is the renewal of the food authorization of rape seed oil GT73 and the Guidances on e.r.a. and on food/feed from GM animals.

This meeting dealt with the eneral topic of "Assessment of allergenicity of genetically modified foods" as well as a number of self tasks and mandates to develop guidance on the risk assessment of GMOs. It also also discussed a report about vertical gene flow of GM rice in connection with LL rice 62 and Portugal's notification of a GMO free region on Madeira.
